Maxine came from an awful situation of neglect. The owner was cited by animal control when they came out and found one of Maxine's pups dead in the backyard. The lady said that she was not taking care of her husbands dogs, since he moved out. We took all of the dogs. She is a sweetie, but a bit shy at first. She has bonded very well with her foster momma.
